ABOUT TAMAR

Artist By Trade and Passion

Tamar has been working as a professional Makeup, Makeup FX artist for over 20 years.

​

Tamar works in Television, Film, Commercials, Music Videos, Corporate Videos, Print, Fashion, Editorials and Advertisement.

​

Tamar has been involved in the arts and entertainment industry in one way or another since she was a young child; from musical theatre, acting, painting, sculpting, playing music, and promoting other artists. She is a huge film geek and cinephile. 

​

In 1998 Tamar decided to take all her interests and change her canvas and career to the human face and body.

​

Some of Tamar's inspirations over the years have been Jim Henson, Veruschka’s body painting, Rick Baker, Norma Hill- Patton, Rita Ciccozzi, Joel Harlow, Wes Anderson, Jean-Pierre Jeunet. Photographer George Hurrell and painters like Vermeer and Dali because of their use of light and texture.

Tamar enjoys travelling for work. She has been fortunate to work In Italy, France, Spain, Mexico and across Canada.
